A play about love reborn through the shared love of Jimi Hendrix music.
Joe and Mary’s hippie days are over so it seems. The Woodstock flame that burned in them when young seems to have been extinguished. Settled into comfortable retirement their days are now measured by cups of tea and TV. Then the music of Jimi Hendrix begins to build again for the both of them. It is everywhere. It was Hendrix music that first brought them together all those years ago. Their love of his music isn’t dormant after all. It wakes them up, rekindles their love for each other and offers them a second chance to reignite the Woodstock flame.
