By attending this vigil you can help to be a voice for the voiceless victims of this planet — the animals known as «food animals» — at Sandyford we bear witness to the suffering of sheep and cows that needlessly suffer and are killed here each day!
Please show your attendance as accurately as possible.
Things to bring:
— devices to capture video, photos, live streams of the animals
— selfie sticks (some provided)
— drinks & snacks
— weather appropriate clothing
— placards (some provided)
Sandyford abbatoir is easily accessible from the M8 exiting at Junction 27 (Paisley), from Paisley Gilmour St Train station or the 101, 22, 26 bus from Paisley town centre.
For the new activists:
All activists will be briefed before we start, you can stay as long as you can for the duration of the vigil.
If you are apprehensive about attending your first vigil, listen to Hannah share her story bearing witness for the first time. https://youtube.com/watch?v=eNH14tzg-tE
We can offer new activists a SMS Buddy for their first 1-2 vigils, or for anyone who feels a bit fragile and wants to shadow someone.
There will be lots of support and hugs to keep you strong. 💚
