Guy has previously presented a talk to the SSPR on (the horrific and chilling) The Dyatlov Pass Incident and recently gave a Pecha Kucha presentation on the very unusual hallucinations experienced by climbers and explorers in September. His talk was so well received that he's been invited back to share with us more on this most fascinating of subjects — why so many climbers and explorers have such uncanny experiences.
Is it just a lack of oxygen? High altitude? Exhaustion? Is it all psychological? Or is there something more going on?

In Scotland we have many remote bothies and glens with a reputation for hauntings ~ join Guy on his reflections on the strange stories that climbers, hillwalkers and explorers tell…

Guy Veale is a musician and performance artist as well as an experienced and well-travelled hill-walker. He's long had a fascination with consciousness studies and altered states of consciousness.

The Talk will take place in The Glasgow Theosophical Society Building, 17 Queens Crescent, Glasgow, G4 9BL on Thursday the 15th of March at 7.30 pm.
