The first Amazon Academy of 2018 will take place in Glasgow. The Amazon Academy will provide free advice and practical support to help SMEs from across Scotland succeed in the digital economy.
The event is open to businesses of all sizes and is being run in conjunction with Enterprise Nation.
As a small business owner (or someone thinking of starting your own business), you will be able to learn how to use the power of the internet and technology to grow your company, boost export sales and improve the customer experience. SMEs ranging from e-commerce businesses, web developers and new startups will be in attendance to hear from a range of speakers who will provide ‘how to’ advice and insights, as well as discussing some of the broader issues facing businesses today in Scotland.
What happens on the day?
In the morning, you'll be able to find out how you can make the most of the digital opportunity as a small business, with insight from Amazon; Scottish Enterprise; Enterprise Nation; and other independent experts and successful entrepreneurs.
Following a networking lunch, in the afternoon session attendees will be given practical advice on how to capitalise on Amazon’s global digital and physical products and services to boost your revenue, improve productivity, and reach customers globally.
