Hailing from the South Side of Chicago, and with over 30 years in the game Jamie 3:26 is known as one of Chicago's true House Music soldiers and is up there with the best from the Windy City. His sets epitomize the true house sound of Chicago whilst not forgetting its deep disco roots. Jamie loves the music he plays and that definitely comes across as he gets down as hard behind the decks as the people do on the dance floor.

Driven by the desire to allow people to lose themselves on the floor Jamie keeps his irons in the fire. Whether it be an obscure edit from 40 years ago or a new jam, as long as it has a great groove, he's interested in it.

When he plays, his main goal is to connect with the crowd. He feeds off of their energy. He has the uncanny ability to read a floor and switch the groove without losing them. Directing them to places he wants them to go is what sets him apart from many other DJ's.

Kicking off his solo productions with a series of ace disco edits back in 2008 — being the first artist to release on Partehardy Records outside of Ron Hardy, as well as remixes for his contemporaries such as Marcellus Pittman. Later, Jamie contributed 2 tracks to the year's best selling Chicago Service EP; the 1st track being an uptempo take of Curtis Mayfield's Give Me Your Love, whilst the 2nd was a twist on Loleatta Holloway's Hit N Run which by 2015 was a dancefloor classic and in late 2017 got a release on the iconic Salsoul Records as an official remix. Since then he’s gone on to found his own label 326 Records which he uses as an outlet for his famed Basement edits; had a release with regular accomplices Lumberjacks in Hell; and more recently he’s teamed up with Masalo, a Dutch-Japanese rooted artist considered as part of the new wave of Amsterdam music creatives, for a gospel inspired Disco/House jam “Testify” out on Local Talk records as well as upcoming track “Red Light”.

Jamie has been around for years plying and mastering his trade but recent years has seen a well deserved upturn in popularity, and we're all better off for it!
