The Whangie
G63 9 Glasgow, United Kingdom
After such a successful Conic hill run, bringing 130+ runners to the area for an amazing day out… we thought it only right that we start doing the rounds!

Scotland has some of the most beautiful mountains and breathtaking panoramas in the world. I bet you have always wanted to try hill running but not had the confidence to do it yourself. Don't worry, many people are on the same boat! How about a FREE Sunday stroll with the Run4It Team. The chosen route up and around The Whangie is both fun, easy to follow and gives you a decent mix of terrain.A great introduction to the hills with a spectacular view and awesome rock formations. The route is 3 miles long with a slight detour to the summit stone!

The Route bellow;

Where to meet?
Queens View car park on the A809

What to bring? (PLEASE READ)

-A mobile phone for all that selfie goodness and emergencies.

How about food?
There are plenty of Cafe's en route to the Whangie but the area itself is pretty void of shops!

Don't think you can run the whole way up?
Don't worry! nobody will be able to, this run is about fun, trying something new and enjoying the challenge. NOT about having to keep up with anyone. You do your thing!

The event is child (though please ensure this is not too much for them) and dog friendly. Please just ensure any pups are kept on a lead. as we will be passing through farmland.
