— ● About the Tour
// This is a great Day Trip to visit some amazing places including a Whisky Distillery Tour, the stunning and breathtaking scenarios at Queen's View with great scenery and beautiful walks, Lochs, Pitlochry town and the incredible Hermitage Falls and more…
Join us in a truly Scottish Adventure visiting some of the most beautiful, historical and cultural landmarks of Scotland. Our main destination is Pitlochry, a Victorian town, developed as a popular tourist resort and situated amidst spectacular outdoor scenery. We will also go on a fantastic and fascinating Whisky Tour in Blair Athol Distillery, whisky tasting and whisky shopping after the tour. Blair Athol Distillery is one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland, dating back to 1798. Its Bell’s Blend is a leading, popular blended whisky in the UK and worldwide. Afterwards, we will have plenty of time to discover the cute and charming town of Pitlochry: the famous Pitlochry Fish Ladder, River Tummel, Loch Faskally, Loch Thummel and its cute town centre and very old Scottish Bars and Pubs.
This Day Trip also includes visiting Hermitage Forest near Dunkeld offering a great river walk through forest to see Ossians Cave and impressive Hermitage waterfalls. And finally our day will be complete with visiting a stunning view, from the viewpoint known as the Queen’s View in Highland Perthshire. It overlooks Loch Tummel, one of the most photographed areas of Scotland, and is said to have been named after Queen Victoria, following her visit to the area in 1866.
For a taste of Scotland and a Highland experience, this trip is not to be missed!
