The aim of this class is a sympathetic yet playful view of learning the Ashtanga Vinyasa counted method with integrity from the start. Every body and every mind works in its own very unique way and although the sequence is always the same — the teachings need to be delivered very individually. In class we aim to build confidence in asana ( physical practice) bring space to the body, and ultimately quieten the mind. This is all in order for Ashtanga to serve its true purpose — as a beautiful moving meditation. The class is suitable for all levels of practitioner from absolute beginner onwards.
