St Mungo Museum of Religious Life & Art
2 Castle Street, G4 0RH Glasgow, United Kingdom
Come along and listen to a variety of speakers from diverse backgrounds offer personal reflections on the refugee experience — over a cuppa and some cake in an informal and friendly environment.
You'll have the chance to hear about St Mungo, the 7th Century Patron Saint of Glasgow, whose Mother was forced to leave her home in search of refuge and whose story resonates with refugee and asylum stories of today.
We'll also hear from Interfaith Glasgow volunteers, who themselves came to Glasgow as asylum seekers, and who now work to help new migrants settle into Glasgow through the Weekend Club.
As always, this will be an informal, friendly event with tea, cake and plenty of time for conversation.
This event is part of a monthly dialogue series called Faith to Faith, run in partnership between St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art and Interfaith Glasgow.
