Would you like to learn how to screen print at home using repurposed or upcycled materials? Then why not sign up for a 4-week course by Studio B-Line every Friday from 3rd November at 12pm — 2pm to learn how.
You’ll learn how to make your own screen from old picture frames and reclaimed fabric, cut your own stencils, source the materials and then go on to to print your own two colour design onto your choice of textile.
Participants will spend the first week making a screen and working on design development, the second session drawing and cutting out stencils and the final two sessions printing their design onto their choice of garment using their own newly made screen!
You can bring along one of the following to print onto a t-shirt, apron, tote bag, cushion cover, tea towel, pillow case or even a denim jacket. If you don’t have anything lying around at home, you can choose something from the Swap Shop at The Space to print instead!
