Are you confused about all the conflicting advice online about dog training?

It is very easy to feel overwhelmed by all the dog training advice out there. Is food bribing your dog? Will tug games cause my dog to be aggressive? Do I need to show my dog who is boss?

Everyone from your vet, dog walker, uncle and Dave next door who has had dogs all his days seems to want to give you advice on how best to train your dog and the advice often contradicts each other.

This evening classroom discussion will look at the various training methods, how they work and the pitfalls of each of them.

You will get the benefit of the 4000+ hours of client facing training time John McGuigan, Glasgow Dog Trainer and Behaviour Consultant has amassed over the last 8 years working professionally with clients and their dogs.

We will discuss

Positive reinforcement training

The use of e-collars, head collars, harnesses and leads

How to effectively interupt unwanted behaviour

Pack leadership and being the boss.

If you would like to learn more about this topic in a friendly, welcoming environment please come along. John and the team would love to see you there.
