Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum
Argyle Street, G3 8 Glasgow, United Kingdom
The Electric Frog are proud to introduce the first of a series of events taking place in one of Glasgow's most iconic buildings, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum. This stunning space will be home to our first event, the awesome Vitalic Official who will preform live.
Vitlaic has been an artist close to our hearts after playing an unforgettable set at the Riverside Festival, so we are delighted that he will be bringing his live show to Glasgow on the 23rd September.
For those who aren't familiar, Vitalic (aka Pascal Arbez-Nicolas) has plowed his own furrow with a series of club classics incorporating techno, disco, rock and pop, Tunes such as“Poney”, “La Rock 01”, “My Friend Dario” and “You Prefer Cocaine” are mainstays in many record collections throughout the world and in many way opened the way of the French sound that Daft Punk, Justice and Etienne de Crécy followed.
Added to a fantastic body of work, Vitalic is also famous for shows that are visually and aurally stunning — you never forget a Vitalic show and especially not in a venue as impressive as the Kelvingrove Art Gallery — a match made in heaven:)
Joining Vitalic is a real rising star — DJ, producer and vocalist Maya Medvesek, aka Nightwave.
As a DJ, Nightwave has played major festivals such as Sónar Festival Barcelona & Tokyo, Outlook Festival and Exit Festival to name but a few. At home in Glasgow, she continues to run her own club night Nightrave and we are pleased for Nightwave to be joining us for our first night in the museum.
