Are Props helpful or do they just get in the way?
Some yogi's believe you need none other than a sticky mat, some have a toy box full.

What is a Prop?
Should I use one as a teacher or a student?

Here are some ideas of what a Prop can be:
A block
A blanket
A strap
A wheel
A hammock
A ball
A roll
A bolster
A cushion
A wall
A headstand table

Adding a touch of creativity is fun, but knowing how to use a prop to aid your own practice is where the benefits come.
Being your own teacher and practicing non attachment.
I get asked a lot about Props, how to use them effectively and when to use them if you do.
I've put this workshop together, so that teachers, teachers in training and students of yoga (whether you practice at home or within a class), can confidently decide whether you or your students could benefit from a prop.
Of Course, there will be elements of fun where we will try a variety of postures showing what is possible with a prop that may not be without.
My motto is always be open minded and have non judgement, be free to try and choose…
All the above props will be in action during this workshop and maybe more :)
