The spirit of Germany takes over the whole of BAaD for an extremely special weekend of one of the best celebrations of the finer things in life in the world, Oktoberfest … think beer, food, music and even more beer.
On Thursday 19th October — Sunday 22nd October the internal BAaD courtyard will be transformed into a boutique German Bierpalast (beerhall) where guests will be treated to exceptional hospitality in an amazing party atmosphere. Steins of the finest German beer will flow alongside the sounds of very special live musical guests all weekend.
Fueling the party spirit will be A’Challtainn Restaurant, one of the cities finest Seafood restaurants, crafting a special German menu. Celebrating the classics such as schnitzel, bratwurst and the pretzel whilst also exploring and interpreting new trends in German cuisine. Diners will enjoy a selection of German fayre, the names of which become easier to pronounce with each Stein of Beer, SCHWEINSHAXE: pork knuckle cooked in sauerkraut with onion mash, WEINER SCHNITZEL: breaded veal cutlet, STECKERLFISCH: BBQ Fish Bavarian style and the ultimate winter comfort food SCHWABISCHE KASEPATZLE which is the German version of Mac & Cheese.
Drinks wil include ERDINGER WEISSBIER, the world's no.1 wheat beer, fresh and fruity with a full and refreshing taste. BAaD BAVARIAN BREW specially brewed beer for BAaD Oktoberfest. and for something a little different the JÄGERMEISTER STEIN bringing the Berlin vibes to the Barras! 2 pint pitcher of Jägermeister, topped up with Ginger Beer and garnished with cucumber & fresh lime.
Visitors are also encouraged to travel deep into the Black Forest, with the Outdoor BAaD Alpine Village. Get cosy under the heaters within the trees or dance the night away in your very own alpine forest with guest DJs and of course the finest German Beers.
Octoberfest is a great way to kick off the October holiday weekend, with an extra day on Monday to nurse your hangover.
