Working with Yoga and the medicine of Essential Oils.
Essential oils have a direct effect on the emotional, physical and subtle body. If our energies or emotions are out of balance the body can become sick, struggle to live life to its full potential in the present moment. Our mission in this life is to face the obstacles and challenges life throws at us the best we can in order to grow, learn, evolve and inspire others to do the same. There are lots of paths, ways and techniques that have been used throughout history to the world we live in now, and in this series, Katrino Yoga and Yogi Oils have come together to bring you a series of 5 workshops in which we will go into greater detail on how to use essential oils to assist your yoga practise, on and off the mat, to give you some tools which you will hopefully be able to use if you are ever off balance. Inspired by the 5 elements and The Chakras we will use Yogi Oil Essential oil blends – EARTH, WATER, FIRE, AIR AND AETHER to help you find your own harmony as you come into contact with your own beautiful challenges.

Each workshop will include an oil to take home with you, a chance to blend your very own oil and an information sheet related to each element and blend.

Water | To flow, inspire and find peace. This is where our emotions lie, where they can be held onto and at the same time released. Begin to work with choosing your thoughts, which emotions you are and which you aren't and remembering you have a choice in how much you take on, how you speak to yourself and who you want to be in this world. Working with the movable and the flexible Water element and the Sacral Chakra, we will move into an essential oil inspired vinyasa flow which will include pranayama, meditation and asana that are related directly to the elements and Chakras. Expect to leave feeling more connected to your emotions, the subtle and physical body and what essential oils, postures and movements will assist you if you ever feel out of balance as you flow through your life.
