Sunday 30th July | 1.30-4pm (Drinks reception 1.30-2pm) | £5
Join us on the last day of This Will Ruin Everything for a casual Sunday afternoon of independent films. They each explore the themes of the show but are tied together by their focus on re-valueing space and art in the lived environment. The showcase includes short skate films in an abandoned swimming pool by Jamie Johnson, Roadliners, a film by O Street and Pretend Lovers about the uncelebrated typographers of the road and Afternoon Picture’s documentary following our Spring Fling Rural Mural project with Upland. The screenings will be followed by a short Q&A with participants and film makers.

This Will Ruin Everything
Urban Art specialists, Recoat are celebrating a decade of exhibitions, mural projects, and education programmes with a 16-day exhibition and events programme – This Will Ruin Everything – at The Lighthouse. Search the title on eventbrite to discover all the exhibitions, screenings, events and workshops. The theme of the project is a dialogue around the blurring and distinctions of design and art in contemporary creative practice, particularly in relation to function, value, ownership and elitism.
The This Will Ruin Everything Events Programme is supported by The National Lottery through Creative Scotland and by The Lighthouse.
