Keep Calm and Scary On is a brand-new show from the producers of the sell-out Edinburgh Horror Festival show, and successful UK tour, “How to Talk to the Dead”.

Drawing on Victorian Spiritualism, Psychic Entertainment and modern Mentalism, this show presents a series of demonstrations where humour and horror combine. Featuring possessions, mind reading demonstrations and tricks of the Victorian Seance brought back to life on stage for the modern world. Paranormal magic that is interactive, engaging and fun, recreating the lost world of the Séance.

We plunge you back into the 19th century and the séance parlour to witness oozing ectoplasm, spirit communication and direct mind reading of your inner most thoughts.

Written and performed by Ash Pryce, with assistance from Oliver Giggins and Katie Scott, this is a spiritual successor (lol) to How to Talk to the Dead, but whereas that show exposed the scams, this time we’ll be presenting them as “real”… [please note: For entertainment purposes!]

This is event is free to attend, although we will be asking for donations at the end of the talk. Participants are under no obligation whatsoever to donate, however please rest assured that the money we collect doesn't end up in anyone's pocket — it is used to fund our overhead costs, and travel/accommodation for our speakers who come from further afield.
===
Accessibility: As per the policy of the Admiral Bar, access to the venue “can only be provided to patrons who are sufficiently mobile and capable of independently evacuating premises, or with the minimum of assistance”. Unfortunately, this leaves the basement inaccessible to most wheelchair users.

Note, create events in both in our Facebook Community and our official Facebook page. This is because some members of the Group either haven't 'Liked' our official Page, and vice versa… so don't be worried if you think you're seeing double
